what size outboard should i get a 150 merc is on there now thinking 175 or 200 suzuki 4 stroke its on a bracket

Did you re-power with a 175 Suzuki? I have a Suzuki DT 200 and need to replace it. I am considering the 175 but am worried that the 4 cyl. will not have enogh power to get it out of the water. The V6 has been effortless... until I lost compression :bang
