Just have to cleaner her up, replace cushions and wax .

How I did it,I picked up a piece of 5/4 X 6" X 7' teak ripped and split cut,planed them down to the sizes I needed and just used the old pieces as a pattern. sanded with 100,150,220 and 400 sand paper, two coats of varnish, first coat 50/50 mix.wood cost $ 140.00 .

That looks really good. Mine was beyond refinishing, so I painted it dark blue with "Brightside" poly paint. I just did it so I still have to see how it holds up, but since I already had the paint, the price was right!

Oh - I misunderstood. I thought you found a way to make your fake teak look like real teak...! :?

My Duratrim looks terrible. The previous owner painted it with that Cetol stuff which is half pealing off. When this rises to the top of my list, I think I will replace all the 1/4 inch stuff with starboard but use 3/4" teak for the tow rail where I need some strength.
