Anybody ever retro-fit install those rods to operate seacocks? On my 2001 265, I lay almost flat on the floor to reach the seacock handles. Newer models have the rods connected to the seacock handle with a support bracket near the top - which sure looks a lot easier to operate than mine. Can you buy the parts separately? Who makes them? Does it require a special seacock handle?

I replaced the seacock extension rods on my 265 a couple years back. The connection between the extension rod and seacock handle rusted out and broke. I bought new replacement rods from my local dealer for both the washdown and livewell. I don't remember the exact cost. If was a fairly easy repair, given I had the rear panel off to replace the washdown pump at the same time. I don't envy you if you try to replace them through the small deck plate.
