Very nice! And quite a trip, especially in a U-Haul. How long did it take?
I flew out, looked at the boat with another forum member, put down an offer on her, took her for a sea trial run and then bought her. I rented the U-Haul truck leaving on a Thursday morning and then got her back home Monday afternoon. I'll attach a link to the thread I have started on the journey but I was taking it nice and easy, didn't want to rush things and stayed at my aunt and uncle's house in Eastern Washington Sunday night when I could've continued driving on through and made it back home that evening. So, around 4.5 days total but could've done it in 4 if I wanted to. The U-Haul wasn't very comfortable and didn't have cruise control in it, which made it all the more frustrating. But still a fun trip, although with this being the third one that I've done, I don't think I'll be doing another anytime soon, if at all. When we dropped off the U-Haul locally the guy I believe said I added 3009 miles on the odometer. Driving through the western part of Montana was definitely the worst part of the trip... going down from the higher elevation to the lower elevation for dozens and dozens of miles with sharper turns felt never ending. Especially after a long day of a driving as Montana is around 550 miles wide.
