Slow day in the Gulf. Lot of big thunderstorms over the water the last week. Finally got good enough to go Saturday 9/19/09. Grady buddy GW VOYAGER(REEL SELECTIVE) tagged along with JUMPNJACK on this one. Covered a lot of ground this day. Did manage to boat these two Cobia.(40" was 22# and 46" was 41#) GW VOYAGER put one on board as well along with a nice black snapper. JUMPNJACK almost had the third Cobia which was about an estimated 50 pounds plus. A last ditch effort by the fish broke the 80# test. I imagine that fish will have a story to tell! GW VOYAGER headed back in a little earlier than we did. He called me on the radio from about 15 miles away and let me know that they had just picked up a couple of nice Kings. The bigger was 40." A slow day but a fun day shared by the "Grady Boys"! Those two Gradys flying a tight formation was a beautiful sight!
