I was at the local boat show on Wednesday and had a good chat with the Grady dealer. New guy from last year, very friendly. Couple of notes. I saw the 290 and was asking about why they would bring out a new model so close in size to the Marlin. According to him the Marlin is so popular it's future is secure. The 290 is the replacement for the 282 and is narrower and lighter than the Marlin.

As far as pricing a new 330 Express with 350hp Yamaha's and a full electronics package (twin Raymarine E120's etc.) $335,000 Canadian. Plus taxes :(. That would be about $280,000 US.

that's interesting. this year's NY boat show showed a sticker at about $375k fully loaded with f350's and all options (thruster, freezer, helm air, sirius, platinum helm seat and hardtop riggers). that was just about the same as last year's price.

that's a pretty big difference to $280K. was is a comparable setup? maybe we should all go to canada to buy our stuff.
