Charging a battery

I took the stereo off 5 years ago and threw it away because my brother kept leaving it on and leaving the boat without turning off the switches.
I don't have to listen to Tom Petty and Bon Jovi every hour...

I setup the batteries so that the house is isolated from the start batteries and charges from both motors. I put switches under the gunnels so I don't have to open two hatches and remove two tubs to reach the OEM switches. I never have to touch them.

Removed mine. New one on the shelf. Tire of the rust staines.

I hate Srius XM. Almost free and overpriced.

Good answer.

I'll never understand why it's so difficult to charge a battery. Two pages of solutions to a simple problem and stupid mistake.

The head mechanic at the dealership said to just run the engine on 1+2 and it will eventually charge the battery.

start engine on 2. then change selector to 1 with out going thru off. so you do select 2, start engine, then turn selector to 1+2 then 1. DO NOT GO THRU OFF.

PROBLEM SOLVE
