Our condo dock is not wide enough to accommodate any type of dock boxes. Was thinking of getting a triangular one and support/secure it inside my slip. It would still be a couple of feet away from the boat and properly padded… just in case. Any thoughts/ideas?

Will be a bit awkward with the pylon. Can I ask what stuff you need to store? Seems to end up being things like an old hose, old towel and old misc parts accumulated in those things.
may end up dropping stuff over the edge, again the pylon - it is right where the hasp would be, so you would need a few inches clearance.
Btw - did you check with the condo association? They aren’t usually receptive to the ‘ask for forgiveness later’ approach.

but otherwise that’s where the triangle shaped boxes would generally go. See if you can make a trex platform for it in the corner maybe

that looks good. id be even less worried about it since it looks like you have a lift

Thank you. Will discuss with the condo association but this could actually be a good solution for a lot of my neighbors. The plan is to have a relatively small box (<60” at its widest), to store my fillet table, some maintenance essentials, and few fishing things.

Would love to see if anyone has done this and how it looks.

In our marina there is plastic triangular piece between the main dock and the finger just like you drew in your picture. That is where some people put dock boxes. So if your marina allows it that would be the place for it. Our docks are floating, but not sure it really matters. The dock box is great for cleaning supply's, extra fenders, dock lines etc.

Thank you. That is exactly what I was thinking. Do you happen to have any pictures?

I'd evaluate how much space you will actually get and how you will use it. Looks like a fairly small area from the pic.

I'm cheap and traditional dock boxes are not allowed, so I use a big cooler.
