Just went through a big life change after 36 years,,,,, but enough of that.
Bought a new place for my boat and for my next chapter in life. 16' tall, 14' wide and 62' long boat shed that happens to have a 3 bedroom house attached!! Couldn't be happier to finally have my boat at home. Will be adding more lights and painting inside white to brighten it up.

I've never questioned the investment I made in my detached garages. So many wish for it, so few actually do it. If done right, it makes a house sell quickly.

Surprisingly, this house sat on the market for a bit, which worked in my favor. Realtor said everyone loved the RV/boat shed, but house needed updating,,, it was/is stuck in the early 90's, so no one wanted the updating task. I didn't care, the bones are good, and I've got nothing but time to update as I go. My big want was the boat shed anyway, so I could get my boat home and out of a $350 a month storage building. Driving by the house, you see the big door, but it doesn't really draw that much attention since the depth of it is kind of hidden behind it. The big garage was done at a later date from the house, but it was done right.

That is a great buy in my opinion. Buy it for a discount for cosmetic reasons, but then have the option to update it to make it the way you want. I've done that with several houses, and they always sell fast for top dollar.
