wow! thanks everyone the motors were fully serviced at a yamaha dealership, new t-stat, waterpumps, new fluids, plugs, and compression check. The boat has been well maintanied and spent its life stored inside when not used and maintained by grady dealer each year. I'm waiting for a full survey...

I live in North Plains and have a 228, I know exactly what you're thinking. I purchased a smaller 20' older North River and use that for inshore for rivers and lakes. The Grady is just for Ocean trips, I'd say with the boat prices they way they are and capabilities of a seafarer I'd try $45K...

Nice job, I just made a lower section out of di-bonded material and 3D printed some custom backers with riv-nut inserts. Also 228, I like yours bette!

I pulled mine out in my 228. The lid comes out easy with 4 screws, then the actual livewell has screws around the top, then you have to reach in where the battery lid is to disconnect 2 hoses the raw water and drain hose those are a little bit of a pain.
