I have a 200 HP mercury 2-stroke on my offshore. Tops out at 37 MPH. I never run it at WOT for any extended period of time. Typically run at 3600 - 4500 RPM and am fine at that range. Just curious, will repowering with newer four strokes cause transom scuppers to go below the water line...
