Then I cut a big hole in the deck

Well the cut out dimensions will vary by how ever big you want really. My hatch frame is 24x16". I can give you a template, but it is slightly smaller. but I do remember the distance between the supports Grady puts in is 27". I centered my 24" long hatch between that and the lower edge is even...

Cool looking new product from Garmin - Garmin GPSMAP 943xsv

Yup very confusing. Garmin makes the Striker Sounder only that has all the sounder bells and whistles for an affordable price. It has, DV, Chirp, Side View and comes in several sizes. I just upgrade from a Striker 5 DV to a Striker 7 Plus SV so now have Side View and a bigger screen, wifi and it...

Then I cut a big hole in the deck

Water tank. Makes a good seat while I sanded/wired/painted. I may enlarge the water tank at some point now that I have easy access.

Then I cut a big hole in the deck

For me it was very easy. I cut out the rigging tube, that only had one active wire and ran in around the front side of the space. Used plastic wire clamps so I can easily add wires in the future. No need for a rigging tube since I have a giant hatch instead. Anything you can dream of can...

    Cut, buff, wax.

Very nice. I've spent 3 days on mine w/ aggressive compound and it's not that shiny!. Are they wet sanding or using compound and a buffer?

Then I cut a big hole in the deck

It does flex a bit. I couldn't find a metal one actually, post a link if you know of one. Color match was important to me, that's why finding a hatch is tricky for Grady's. WHITE really stands out. I found in my case the hatch frame flex more than the hatch door so I was able to add a thicked...

Then I cut a big hole in the deck

I considered several sizes and even bought several hatches but went with a 16"x24" hatch so I can get bulky stuff down there and a Coastal liferaft like Omar's got. The fiberglass was very sharp and "stabby" down there so sanding painting white makes it nice. I still can put containers down...

Sekiu Washington, on the Straits of Juan De Fuca - Salmon Fishing

Hmmm theft at Sekiu? I'm not sure what you mean by "space" but we usually rent a rustic cabin up there and moorage so the boats in the water for 2-3 days while while we're there. The entire "town" is a sport fish community but I haven't had any theft problems personally in the 3 times I've been...

    Toilet for 2005 seafarer 228

Well actually the holding tank is the port a pot, no external tank. I think it's about 2 gallons. I do have the option of pushing a button and pumping overboard. But Yes, it would cost alot to install all of that, I'd go with a $110 portapot if you want the basic function.

What props do you have on a Gulfstream with twin Yamaha 115's

Agreed, sounds like you are propped as good as you're going to get. Good move on the 4 blade over the 3 with the heavy loads. About fuel, Do you have the twin tanks? If so run with the big one full and the small one empty for better performance. Fuel is a massive weight if you don't need it. I...

    Toilet for 2005 seafarer 228

Mine came with a portepotty that has hoses coming into the base of the cuddy then go to a Y valve and a deck mounted pump out on the starboard side. Also mine has a macerator pump. That's alot of plumbing for a portepotty. You'd see the hoses if you have them in the starboard storage area under...
