Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

I hope I have one around here. The one I found in the papers was similar to the online version. Thanks for that input.

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

Thanks that's sound advice. It's the four-cylinder injection system. Unfortunately, the Yamaha manual is pretty thin. There is a Yamaha shop near where I work. I'll go and talk to them as well.

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

Nice, for that link. I'll look for the four cylinder 150 version. The boat is on a lift above water and there are no ramps I can pull it in to work on. I can only imagine how expensive it would be to have someone work on it. Thanks PointedRose!

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

Than Thanks for that, I thought I was going crazy and there might be another less obvious switch installed. The one thing I didn't do is to see if the clip is still conducting ground properly.

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

I looked everywhere under and traced the electric harness to the battery but saw nothing... Except that the snake is still there. Here are some pictures: I'm stumped. There are no notes as to where it is. I will keep good notes on any modifications I do. Lesson learned.

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

Thanks. It's slightly different but it's part of the Throttle combo. It has a key and that's how I start the engine normally. I checked everywhere and didn't find it. I'm going to look again. There might be another killswitch elsewhere. I will take pictures tomorrow to post here.

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

You know, that's a great question I haven't found an answer to. It sounds like there is. I remember looking for it for a very long time and never found anything but a snake wondering what I was doing :) Is there a spot where you would generally find a kill switch on that configuration? Thanks...

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

Damn engine won't start. It cranks, enough gasoline, oil pressure OK. I bought an extra set of spark plugs to see if it does anything. Dang, it's frustrating seeing that boat not moving!

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

I'm fine with it. It looks like a big garden snake. It doesn't look like a viper, so yes, it can stay. Not sure it'll enjoy the waves and engine vibrations.

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

Fantastic, thanks. Now I have to get rid of a snake lodged right above the battery...

Thanks, you answered it perfectly well. I will fill up at the local station and get going.

Yamaha F150 2007 what kind of gasoline?

I hope I'm not opening a can of worms here but it seems a 2007 Yamaha F150 can take regular automotive-grade gas. My 1986 Tournament 19 was looked over two years ago with no problems. It seems I should be able to use regular gas. So, it's difficult to answer the question with or without ethanol...

    1986 Tournament 19 are rare?

Thanks, that's good advice. Although, I still have to find where the nav light switch is. That's the problem with this boat. I don't know how much or if it's been tweaked by the previous owner or the original one.

    1986 Tournament 19 are rare?

LOL, yes, indeed they do have a lot of electrical gremlins. I'm trying to sort them out and figuring out if it's easier to replace the entire harness, as I would for an old car. I have the schematics. As far as the powertrain, it's a Yamaha F150. I hear these boats can handle up to 200 HP...

    1986 Tournament 19 are rare?

Ah, so a deeper hull? That means its handling characteristics, the 19 will be different from a 219. I wonder how different. Good to know. Thanks!

    Tournament 19 fuel tank

Ah, unfortunately, I'm a journalist, so better with typing than cutting wood, but I'm willing to learn. I love doing things like that.

    Tournament 19 fuel tank

Thanks, that too is on the list of things to keep an eye on. And that floor panel is sinking, which I can only imagine means a new one at some point. Thanks!

    1986 Tournament 19 are rare?

Hi Everyone, I'm getting my feet wet, no pun intended, with the shakedown of a 1986 Tournament 19. I don't seem to find a lot of info on it. Were 1988 and 1989 models more common? I'm excited to learn and get going. The boat is ready for it's first outing in a year. I checked oil. I understand...

    Tournament 19 fuel tank

Just a newbie question but can we install the new plastic fuel cells in an older 1986 Tournament? I would assume so.
