I recently upgraded my GPS/Sounder to the Garmin Ecomap which worked out fine. Solid unit, the power was the same but I doubt the transducer will be the same. Maybe others on the string know? Mine was a 9" cost $799.00 with a $100 rebate.

I pulled my tanks, cleaned out all residual fuel, had a welder close up a couple of pin holes, encapsulated tank in fiberglass, reinstalled tank. That was 7 years ago with no problem. Rule of thumb for new tank cost is $10.00 per gallon -- 100 gallon tank cost $1,000 plus installation.

ALL older Grady's have transom rot. I have refurbished 3 Grady's with the newest being a 1997 and all 3 had bad transoms. 2 of them had Grady brackets. Question is: define a older Grady. Great boats that I highly recommend. My 1988 232 Gulfstream.
