What did you do to reduce the glare off the bow with your hardtop mounted light ?

Got an e-mail from Grady telling me to remove the rigging box near the helm footrest and try to go in that way ... going to give it a try .

I can grab 12 vdc at the bow .. I can use the line side of the windlass. I am trying to fish a line to pull the control cable to the loom .. There are wires that go that way but they are so secured and in a loom that pulling on them has no effect. Still waiting on Grady ! I can't believe they...

yes i looked ... no tubes shown in the manual .. Many tubes running aft but none I can see running forward.. A visual inspection shows 2 looms, one port and one starboard screwed into the inside of the deck/cabin running aft. I tried to run a fish along side those tubes but I was unable to...

2007 Marlin >> Has anyone run any wiring from the bow (anchor locker) to the helm ?? I tried unsuccessfully to run and electrician's "fish" thru on the starboard side. .. I ran it starting just under the "walk" .. but where it went from there ?????? I do not think Grady ran a rigging tube...

There is an issue with the 350's not completely draining water from the water jackets, freezing , and causing the jacket to crack... Go to the yamaha forum ... you need to flush those with antifreeze , .. I would suggest the -100 and not the - 50 degree.

I looked at the owner manual ... there does not seem to be a chase from the helm to the bow.. I seem to recall getting some wiring up there once but it was a fight ! My stereo on a 2007 is on the port side .. .. I may go back to the hardtop with a "pulpit like platform" under the light to block...

Thats pretty much what I would like to have .... 2 starting batteries , 1 port , 1 starboard,.. and 2 house batteries in parallel.. I would tie the Gen into one of the starting batteries and the Power assist to the other ... All other functions, House and Electronics on the 2 house batteries ..

Has anyone mounted a remote spotlight on the bow pulpit ? Marlin or similar ? Is there a wiring tube that goes into the bow area ? I would need to pull wires from the helm area to the bow near the anchor windlass .. I know it would be easier to mount on the hardtop. But then I am fighting...

I would love to look at a schematic as to how you are going to wire them ... What motors do you have? My ox66's had a separate charging lead for the house batteries which was isolated withing the motor ... I thought that was a great Idea ... I could be wrong, but I do not believe my F250's have...

Thats an interesting set up .... I don't think I need to go that far... somewhere in the back of my mind, On my list of to do projects, that I am sure my wife will not understand!!!! I was thinking about Isolating the 2 house batteries from the two engine batteries ... That's what I liked...

Thanks.... I did not get a chance to do anything with this boat other than winterize and explore a little ... Its a little different than my 2001 Marlin ( I knew the 01 pretty well and added a lot of upgrades thru the years. .. I just put a post on "Modifications and tips" about the batteries...

Thanks ... I am not sure why I was told not to leave the sea cock open when the gen is not running .. I could understand that if it were not a Fresh water cools system ... Another question, please .. is there a gauge for the diesel tank ?? somewhere ??
