just curious, what are your performance numbers with the single 250? cruise rpm/mph and wot rpm/mph? how is fuel consumption?

you could try Taylor Marine. they are a grady dealer based out of DE and MD. i dont know if they have what you are looking for now, but they could always get one in. i havent worked with them a lot, i am a newer grady owner, but from what i have heard, they have a good reputation.

well, i will not argue that, haha. still, turning over 5k, he should be doing better than 15mph.

even with 7 people on a possibly underpowered boat, he should still be doing more than 15 mph with the engine running 5200 rpm. i dont think power is the issue. if power was the issue, he wouldnt be able to hit those rpm. assuming the boat is propped correctly, it does sound like a spun hub to me

as unrelated as your potato chip adjustment factor is, it seemingly is surprisingly accurate. my only challenge to that is that labor hasnt gone up that much. id still expect $125 +- an hour. which is not far off from where it was 5-10 years ago

it will likely vary quite a bit depending on the specific trailer. my new to me boat/trailer combo is 38 feet tongue to props and my old boat/trailer was 30 feet. the boats themselves are within 4" of eachother. i know this doesnt really help, but something to consider
