You could do it yourself, many posts on here for that if you search. if I can interpret your fiberglass guy a bit liberally - he is too busy right now to take on any jobs that aren’t a few thousand dollars…I don’t know how closely he looked at it, but anyways, take a knife and stick it into the...

Mooring Tricks To Keep The Gulls Away

Get a large net from an army navy store. Cut to shape of your boat. Use bungees to put the net over the boat on the mooring. Roll away and stow when in use. Gulls won’t like the net flapping around their feet in the wind and will find a neighbor

My New Grady White Overnighter 204c

4200 is gooey. Gravity will have some effect but mostly it’ll stay in place. Use painters tape to contain the mess and provide for an easy clean up with a utility knife. By counter sinking the drill holes you are providing a place for the 4200 to create a gasket to seal the hole (and prevent...

    Higher Fuel Prices

Well this has turned really fun… boating is a luxury pastime for most… far from a necessity… anyone that can’t afford the gas can sell their boat at record high prices quite quickly

Florida "Save the Reef" pump out

What about getting a guest slip for a night at a marina? I realize it’s not exactly what you’re looking for but an overnight guest slip typically isn’t that expensive and would allow you to use their services

    New Express 305 Hard Top

I have to imagine you could research and fix yourself for much less than really expensive… the materials aren’t cheap, but your own labor just costs your time. If you have the means and prefer the professional job, I’m sure it will come out good as new

    Breakaway Anchor

If your anchor gets hung up, keep a buoy on board your boat so if you do have to cut it, get the buoy on the line so you might be able to hire a diver to retrieve it

    1990 Grady 228g feels slow

seems you already have the likely culprit. Others have filled the bracket with tennis balls or other similar floatation. Get that bracket drained, reseal it with some 3m 4200 and report back

    New boat tool set

oh sorry, I linked a chrome plated set, but either way, quite honestly dude, your posts are a bit obnoxious sometimes…I don’t think you really mean to be that way, just reread your posts to yourself before you submit. Btw I’ve had that set on my boat for 3 years with no rust.
