I'm preparing my boat for Winter for the first time here in the North East. Is it OK to leave the VHF radio on the boat during Winter if it is kept dry? There seems to be a lot of cables and wires attached at the back, so would rather keep it on the boat if that's what other people do as well.

There was no hum from my water pump when I turned it on. I may have forgot to turn it off last time I used it. My question is, if you leave your fresh water pump on for an hour or two will it burn out? If not, is there a trip switch located somewhere that will turn it back on? Thanks!

It's the portable type, but with plumbing for a deck pump out. So the water could be coming from anywhere. :bang

Does anyone have a portable head with a deck pump out? Where is the water coming from when you pump the water into it? Does come from the fresh water tank in the boat? outside salt water? or the upper fresh water reservoir on the portable head? Thanks!

Thanks guys. It's a little more complicated. Power wash is only allocated for certain days and must be paid in advance at the town hall. I'll have to wait until the end of the month for power wash and get in line with all the other boats being pulled in at the same time.
