I have a 330 Express and had the same problem. There is a mesh screen in the air intake fitting that attaches to the hull for the vent hose. I pried out the mesh screen - problem solved. The screen was corroded and restricted air flow.

Pretty sure that dealers installed electronic packages, including transducers. I have an Airmar transducer on my 2003, installed by the dealer. On my Simrad MFD, you have to designate the transducer used, so you may want to take a look at your MFD settings to at least tell you what transducer...

Tough decision. A lot depends on the condition of the rest of the boat. If pristine and it's the right boat for your needs, my opinion is to go for it. Price check a new one, it will make you feel better!

I'd suggest at least 30 - 35 feet of chain (I have 50 feet on my 330). Cheap insurance and peace of mind to have a little more chain than you think you'll ever need :).

Re-powered my 2003 to 4.2 L twin 250's. Readings on the attached photos were with 3 passengers and over 250 Gal. of fuel. Props are newest Saltwater series 3 blade 15 3/4 x 15P. I max out about 5600 rpm.

i have a 2003 330 Express and have lived with a very small sweep. If it is adjustable, I'd be excited to learn how to do it.
