North Shore or South Shore? It has been my experience on the North Shore that the mushroom is the only way to go. I would bet it was just not set properly or had loosened. How far did it move?

Just got an 1988 Grady Fisherman 20.9 with a 98' 200 Ocean Pro. Any advise on this model would be great. Transom is solid that much I know. So I would love to hear it. Good, bad, Ugly. I have done enough searching where I do not think anything too bad with these except the transom. Needs...
