You are right about fresh water use. But the boat had bottom paint on it when I bought it. Plus if I want to screw off during the winter somewhere on the Gulf it will be ready to go. I will just have to flush the engine out really good after use.

Just thought you guys may want to see my 1982 24' Grady that I bought for peanuts and restored with a new factory GM 350 engine. Been in the water for about a month now and runs and operates like a top! The hull is solid and all the wood is in great shape.

Well I have the Rejex now. 1 Question though... I am not 100% sure on what to do after I apply it. Do I rub off the wax haze right away, or do I wait until after it sits in the shade for a day?

I have a lot of unused snap connectors from a previous owner on the sides and transom of my boat. If I take the snaps off there will be a lot of small holes. What is the best way to fill those holes so they will blend in with the gel coat?

I asked that question about the suitability of a truck engine. The mechanic said that he just needs to make a couple of modifications. This is total fresh water use, so that is pretty much like running a car with no antifreeze.

Thanks, I think they are connect together then. I may just see if I can install a shutoff valve between the tanks somehow so that I will never run out of gas for not paying attention if it is not too difficult. I just replaced all the deck plates, which like the article said were deteriorated...
