03 283 Release trim tab motor/reservoir access

Where Grady mounted the trim and tilt at the factory you cannot physically get at it. Has anybody over come this some how ?

I don't know your layout real well - do you have a couple pics? But, often times on boats, you may be doing things more by feel or just one hand. It's just the nature of the beast. If there's no access panel or something else you can remove, then you're either doing as I mentioned, or cutting a new hole/access plate.

I use a ketch up bottle, with a long pointed spout like you see on a restaurant table, to top off my trim tabs.

If you just need to fill the unit you can do it from the stern. Disconnect the bulkhead fitting on the transom and stick the hose in you fluid container. Retract that tab with the switch and it will fill the reservoir.
