Re-powering my 08 express 330, ordered the Suzuki DF300B with dual prop. Hopefully can get the motors soon. My dealer is going to test the prop size. Does anyone used the same motor or the Suzuki DF350 on this heavy boat? I would greatly appreciate info on the prop size.

Hi Seasick, I am replacing both motors. Yes, will be two DF300B.

OK that makes better sense. What do you expect the twin props to offer over the single prop motor on a twin application?

I have 2020 DF 350's on my 306 Bimini, 21.5 pitch.
  • 1.3 – 1.4 mpg @ 4200 RPMs @ 32 mph
  • 1.15 mpg @ 4800 RPMs @ 40 mph
  • 0.9 mpg @ 6200 RPMs @ 52 mph

Thanks, These are great numbers! The 306 Bimini is only 1000 lb less than the 330 express. The only reason I did not buy the DF350 is the gas grade requirement, hoping the 300B with the dual prop will still give me good cruising performance. When I had the F350s, it was probably 0.9-1.0 mpg@4500 @34 mph (at the best)
