Hello everyone. Tomorrow evening I will be the proud owner of a slightly used 1975 GW Angler  I have been searching and searching for any companies that deal with aftermarket parts for these old boats. Can anyone give me any suggestions on who to turn to when in need? As always with a vessel this age, it needs a little TLC, but I am sure that it will be worth it!

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Hello and congrats on your new old school ride. I to am in the same boat as you, no pun intended  . I am in the begining stages of repairing our boat. This site is great for ideas and dreams for us common folk but it caters more to newer Gradys. As far as repair and resore info I have been surfing the "iboats.com" site and sometimes the "Hull Truth" site. I would take the second one with a grain of salt sometimes. West System has some great Manuals on repairng fiberglass, part of my project and I have never done it before. I've been pricing parts all over, West Marine, Jamestown, Amazon.com even has some stuff. I stoped in at Taylor Marine and talked to them, they pretty much said a lot of the older original stuff, like the solid plastic Grady symbols sold out at the end of the 80's. I would suggest just surfing around at different supply web sites and price around depending on what you need. I have found out one part can differ greatly in pricing.

Good Luck and welcome.
