I am so thankful to have found this forum, as there is so much combined knowledge!!! I cannot find any information about this boat I am considering for purchase. I am looking for information about a boat that was sold 5 times. That really cannot be the case, right? RIGHT? I cannot find anything in the largest search platform (Google) or the second largest search platform.... (YouTube). I can't find anything here, either. It seems as though the Tournament was sold hundreds of times, but the 195 Sportsman not so much.
Has anyone ever seem one of these unicorns? Is there more information anywhere about them? I would REALLY appreciate any feedback about remodeling, inspecting, strengths/weaknesses, any information at all.
The boat I am looking at is a 1982 Grady White Sportsman Dual Console with a 2000 225 Evinrude 2-stroke. It needs the gas tank replaced, the bilge pump replaced, and the lights redone.
Help. Please. The form of this boat has mesmerized me. I think it is so beautiful. I have no issue spending another $6k - $8k to make her perfect again, but will I have to have each piece custom made!?!!?!?!
