I’m looking to repower my boat, but which is better a Yamaha 300 hpdi or twin 150 hpdi please advise thank you

do you mean new four strokes, or used hpdi motors?

if you do mean hpdi, there were lots of issues with the 300 hpdi so you will want to do some research.

all things being equal I'd always go for twins for redundancy. more $ for upkeep though. the 300 hpdi has it share of problems, so easy choice for me.

Thank you for the quick respond, yes I’m thinking go for the twin 2003 Yamaha 150 hpdi.
Now my question is these are good motor?

I would look for a well maintained 250 OX66 before either of those options.
