I have a 1988 Gulfstream 230 with twin Yamaha 150s There are 2 tanks but the numbers on them are not readable I think main tank is about 75 gallons and reserve about 25 Anyone have the actual numbers??

The Grady White website is a great resource and a wealth of knowledge in that they have the links to all of the old brochures for all of our boats still available to view on it. For your 1988 GW 230 Gulfstream you should have two tanks, one of which is 93 gallons and the other is 55 gallons for a total of 148 gallons.

My 96 gulfstream had a 96 and a 50

Although not super accurate, assuming the main tank is 92 gallons, measure its length and them measure the length of the aux tank. Approximations will be close enough. Take the ratio of the aux tank length to the main tank length and multiply that by 92. That will be a rough estimate of the aux capacity ( This calculation assumes that both tanks are the same width, depth and shape).
A more accurate approach is of course to run off AUX till it is empty, switch to main and get to the fuel dock to fill up the aux tank. That is going to be panful in the wallet.
