Does anyone have the part number for the gas tank in a 1989 Tournament 19? Our boat is inaccessible in winter storage and we need to have a new gas tank built. If I get the part number, I can get the specs. Thanks.

First time I've heard of that request before. Do you at least know the capacity? I am curious, how will your fabricator know the dimensions based on part number only? Who's part number are you asking for, Grady's or the original supplier of the tank?
I might try a few marine tank fabricators to see if they have the specs. Better yet, call Grady and see if they have the engineering drawing.

Oh, I’ve contacted an outfit that made the tanks for Grady, but they want the part number so they can look up the drawings to send to me. They said they don’t keep old records. I believe it’s a 60 gallon tank.
You might find it in an owner's manual - some of them had parts lists. You may be about to find it/download it from GW's site. Otherwise contact Grady directly. Personally, I'd VERY wary of relying only on a part number without measuring. That's a big gamble with a lot of money that's "all on you".
I'd do anything I could to access the boat - either put a door in the shrink wrap or even remove/redo. Even if the boat was 10 hours away, I'd make that trip.
You "might" try and see if the newer plastic tank used in the newer Tourney's would fit - that's a better long term solution. Or, heck, measure the coffin and see what Moeller has available "off the shelf".

I had to first submit a sketch to my fabricator for pricing and even after that he wanted the old tank to use as a template. These tanks are not off the shelf in my experience.
I tried a Moeller tank for my AUX in my Offshore......replacing a 53 gal aluminum tank with a 40 gal poly tank......it was a quality tank and I would have used it but it was fed from the top and being polyethelene there was no elbow available which would allow me to attach my fill hose from the side. I did not have the clearance to fill from the top.
If you go with a poly tank you need to check it out thoroughly.

I saw those models Seasick.....the rectangular shape did not fit the forward space in my Offshore. They do make good stuff though.Take a look at this option as an example.

As soon as i figure out how to attach the file, I have the grady drawing/specs for that boat and tank
Remember to have it made smaller so it fits. I probably wouldnt have one made without having the old one out
not to make this reply too long but. Here are the things I ran into when replacing the tank on my 89 tournament 19.
My tank cover core was rotted, the screw holes were blown out, the deck plates were no good, the previous owner did a major hack job removing an old tank. The tab that runs the length and width of the deck that the cover sits on will possibly prevent the old tank from coming out. which is why the drawing from Grady says to make the tank smaller. If I had it made to the specs on that drawing it would have never fit in the boat and the sender, fill/vent locations would not have been centered under the deck plates. I would try to wait until you can pull the cover and double check measurements before having one built. I had mine built at Alloy Metal Works in Farmingdale NY.
