I need help please. 1990 seafarer. I would like to know how they had all of the switches are energized when the key is on. For some reason mine are energized all the time. Also does anyone have anything that resembles a schematic.
Any help would be greatly Appreciated
Thanks Gary

Grady White has Owners Manuals on their website. They are not great for that year but has generic info that is useful for wiring. You could call customer service as well. They may have more documentation.

Switch panels are typically switched on/off with battery switch - not ignition switch.

Although unlikely, if you don't have a battery switch on the boat, it is a common practice to use one of the switches on the helm panel as the main power switch for the accessory bus ( pretty much everything except automatic bilge pumps and maybe a stereo memory circuit

As noted, switches should NOT be energized/not energized based on the key switch. You wouldn't want that.

-- How would you turn your anchor light on when you're anchored over night?
-- What if you needed to quickly use the horn?
-- Those are just two examples of why your thought process does't play out in the real world.

It sounds like your boat is wired properly - at least from your first post. Is there something more you're after?
