1990 tournament 190 Bunk spacing HELP

Someone save me. Can’t find this info anywhere been looking a week. Have a Grady white 1990 190 tournament and can’t find out the bunk spacing requirements. Only able to find a 2020 model year chart someone has posted. Anyone able to give a guy a hand?

Here is my set up on a 1999 Tournament 192. The bunks follow the inside portions of the chines.

From the rear, measured horizontally, the distance is 52” from outside of left bunk to outside of right bunk.

For that hull, exact spacing is all that critical since the hull is relatively light and the hull is solid fiberglass.Seanic4256's spacing is probably a good number.
If the hull is out of the water, on a trailer, you can check the spacing by hitting the hull across the with with a plastic faced or dead blow hammer and listen for changes in the thuds. You may not be bale to hear the changes at the stringers exactly but you should be able to tell where the stringers aren't. The thuds will be hollower sounding. Find several hollow areas along the hull and the stringers will be in the middle of those lines.
It may also be possible to see/feel and measure the stringer offsets from the keel from inside the bilge, aft or at the tank area.by probng through the deck plates. There is a good chance that stringers are on either side of the tank.

Thanks, if you could clarify, you’re saying it’s not as big of a deal since the boat is light or you’re saying it’s a bigger deal since it’s thin glass?

I have bunks that are not cut to match the angle of the boat bottom, and want to make sure I’m not causing damage to the boat with the bunk spacing

I received the attached from GW customer service a few years ago when I asked about bunk spacing for my 192. Not sure if it applies to the 190, but they may be able to give you the same diagram for the 190…

It's not a big deal because the hull is light AND because Grady uses solid (not cored) hull construction below the water line.
