Any 1st hand experience w/ subject package? Any performance numbers available?
I have gotten somewhat comfortable w/ the I/O's........they're ALOT less $$$ to repair or replace, and I can work on them myself.

Any/all info is welcome.

i also am looking for the same package in a sailfish, for the same reasons you are. there are some posts on this site if you do a search. i was involved in a few of them as i was doing research on the same subject, repowering a sailfish. no substitute for cubic inches.

Years ago a good fishing buddy of mine bought a Sailfish with a diesel. He had looked for a long time for that power and he was thrilled when he found one. I fished with him many times and learned a ton ( but not enough) about boating and fishing. Although the boat was quire economical to run, it was really expensive to maintain. He had a great diesel mechanic but work and parts were costly and it seemed that something always needed repair or replacement.
