Hey folks, I haven't posted a whole lot here, so I'm sure I'm a total unknown for any regular users, but I'm putting my 1995 Gulfstream 232 up for sale. The first question you folks will all ask is why? Well, this is our first boat. We bought it in 2017 when our kids were pretty young. We've had some great days on the water, and the boat has been an absolute tank that we have loved, but the kids are into other activities now, and we probably only got out on it 6-7 times last summer...just not using it enough to justify the cost of keeping it. Grady-White makes a fantastic product...which is why you probably don't see a lot of good used ones for sale. So, if you're in the market, today is your day.

The list of upgrades we've done is pretty long:

August, 2017
  • Boat Purchased
  • $2k work into the trailer: axle, brakes, etc
2018
  • Misc lights replaced w/ LED’s
  • (4) New speakers (JL Audio)
  • (2) New bilge pumps
  • New Shakespeare 8500 VHF antenna
  • Remote-controlled spotlight
  • Black Oak LED Light Bar
2019
  • Complete repower: Suzuki DF175AP (digital)
  • New water pumps
  • New battery charger
  • All new Garmin electronics package
    • GPS (8610xsv)
    • Radome (Fantom 18)
    • VHF (AIS 210)
    • Remote VHF speaker
    • Fusion Stereo (RA70)
  • New Strataglas enclosure
  • New roof
  • New cabin cushions/pillows
  • New aft bench cushion
  • New bocatech switch panel
  • New carbon fiber acrylic paneling at the helm
  • New transom drain hoses
2020
  • (3) New batteries - Group 27 Deep Cycle
  • Glasswork/repairs on hatches and bow pulpit
  • New 14lb delta Anchor
  • New Anchor rode: 25’ chain (1/4”) with 300’ of 8plt line
  • New cabin sink faucet
  • New Jabsco electric toilet flush unit
2021
  • New macerator pump
  • New overboard discharge handle
  • New overboard discharge button/fuse
Professionally stored and maintained year-round by Kittery Point Yacht Yard (now Safe Harbor Kittery Point) since purchased in 2017.
No expenses have been spared to modernize and update “Shenanigan”. The previous owner also maintained her very well.
We have updated or upgraded most everything on this boat. As you might expect from a 1995 hull, there are a few nicks and scratches here and there, but nothing negatively impacts the boat's structural integrity or usability.
Engine reports from the past 3 years are available.
Top speed (fully loaded) is ~45mph. This is a heavy boat, but the twin 175 Suzuki’s move her along well and get great gas mileage, as you’d expect. I don’t have specific consumption numbers at various RPM’s but I often glance at the gauges and see 2-3mpg / 12-15gph. Obviously, this varies greatly depending on total weight/load, weather/ocean conditions, and how heavy your throttle hand is.
The digital throttle system is incredibly smooth, and the engines are extremely quiet.
I have the survey that was done after we did all the work in 2019. At that time, the survey valued her at $75k.
Engine reports and the survey from 2019 are available upon request.

Ideally, I would like to get $50k. Trailer included. Will also include:
  • Lines
  • Fenders
  • Safety equipment
    • Flare gun kit
    • Fire extinguishers
    • Air Horns
  • Misc repair tools like bulbs, fuses, etc
Serious inquiries only, no brokers, please. The boat is currently wrapped for storage at Safe Harbor’s facility in Eliot, Maine.

Boat has been unwrapped, salt and freshwater systems prepped, motors commissioned/prepped, bottom paint is underway. Bearings on trailer being replaced as well. As soon as this work is done, and the boat is back on the trailer, I'll take some updated pictures and post here. Boat will be ready for the water!

Interested. Would you be able to upload some full size pictures so the condition of the boat can be seen? It's very hard to tell from the current small pictures. Thanks!

Howdy...I just saw your post after I uploaded these new photos taken today (5/1). If you want larger size, I'd be happy to email them to you directly.

wow, you have done a lot. now that almost everything is new, there wont be much left to do. might be easier to justify keeping it since there isnt much more to spend on / replace, haha
