Does anyone know what the original generator in a 2000 marlin would have been? Manufacturer, gas or diesel?
Probably a Koehler 5e gas like I have in my 2003 Marlin. I’m removing mine and disposing of it because of the constant problems.Does anyone know what the original generator in a 2000 marlin would have been? Manufacturer, gas or diesel?
That's what I have in my 2000 Marlin. My electronic control box rusted away. It only has 50hrs. I would be interested if you want to sell to old unit for parts.Probably a Koehler 5e gas like I have in my 2003 Marlin. I’m removing mine and disposing of it because of the constant problems.
Which electronic box do you need? The one on the front of the generator? That's what I have in my 2000 Marlin. My electronic control box rusted away. It only has 50hrs. I would be interested if you want to sell to old unit for parts.
This black box mounted on the front of the 5e is what I’m referring to. You can start and stop it from there.I don't recall an external control box - thought the gen was self contained with just the switch in the cabin. Some pics and more info could help.
Yes there is a metal box with a starter rocker switch on it. Box is mounted to the right side of generator when looking down at the gen set..it will engage the starter motor of the gen set. It also has a volt meter anolog gauge on the box.Which electronic box do you need? The one on the front of the generator?
