I have a 2002 marlin and behind the captains chair level with the deck is a storage compartment. The door is the only thing there.. inside the compartment is just wide open like whatever was there was taken out. I believe it was meant for tackle storage. My question is where can i find the correct insert that was originally in there? Does anyone know the measurements by chance bc i wont be to the boat for a while. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

They are a perfect fit. There is a plastic tab on the left side of the cover, that you'll need to cut off. There are other models of Plano 3700 boxes, which are the OEM that should fit as well. Within the 3700s there are a few different sizes, you want the ones 14" x 9 7/8" x 2"

Yes, that is the right one. Sorry, but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. The shells are listed in the second link in post number three.
