Hi
I need to replace my rocker switch covers on my newly purchased 2004 GW 33 Express. I can make out a few, Horn (its red), Wiper, FWD Bilge, AFT Bilge and one ACC. Does anyone have a pic or a list of the rockers that I can not read?
Also, is it best to get GW replacements?

Thanks

Get your replacements from Newwire Marine on line. They provide custom rocker switches in a variety of options and the tool and directions as to how to easily replace the rocker itself. If you pull the panel and the switches look good on the back you probably don’t have to change the switch just the rocker. I replaced all mine on a 2007. A picture of another boat may not be the same recommend you identify them as to what they control first and then replace them with the proper nomenclature. I have no connection with Newire Marine other than as a customer who is very impressed.

This should give you a good idea of what each switch is. You need to pull the panel and match up the wire color with the diagram

Its best to look in the owner's manual of your year and model. You will find a switch panel wiring diagram that will show the relative positions of the switches.
You can also turn them on and look and listen for what they do...
There are different types of switches. the 2004 probably had lighted Contura11 switches. There are ConturaV backlighted/ lighted versions also.

Look at newwiremarine.com for replacement covers that match the style of switch you have.

They are often on ebay as well. Search for GW rocker switch covers.

chances are the switches are fine and its just the covers. I have bought covers from both my local Grady dealer and ebay.

So interesting enough it looks like we can change fuel tanks via panel instead of through the manual valve.
No, That switch changes the tank level displayed on the yamaha gauge. It does not change the flow of gas from tanks.

Also, be aware that it takes several seconds after switching the fuel level for the digital gauge to display the correct level.

Also, Those are ConturaV switches. They are backlit and indicate on with light.
In the picture beow, Notice the light at the bottom of the left switch. That lights when the switch is on. The top symbol is lit all the time (or probably wired to be lit when your Nav lights are on).
These covers can be replaced with the "Etched" backlit covers. They look better IMO

The GPS switch on the right is only a lighted switch cover. It doesn't have the light at the bottom. We don't know if it is a non-backlit Contura11 switch or if it is the wrong style cover.

Don't mix covers and switches up. Verify what you have and what you can use. Read stuff on the newwire site.
