Hi Everyone,

Recent new owner of an amazing 2005 Tournament 205. I noticed when cleaning it up today that there is visible water in the "bathroom" drain hole. I noticed this in the winter and didn't think anything of it, and I just saw it again tonight. There is a noticeable amount of water in this drain, but the rest of the boat is super dry. Any idea what might be going on here?

Thanks in advance,

Looks like the weight distribution of the boat is just preventing that last bit of water from getting into the drain? Seems like perhaps a small leak at the door? Did you have rain recently? Doesn’t seem to be water coming up from the drain, correct?

The water isn't coming up, but it's not going down either. The boat is trailer editing, and the water was still there after about 24hrs of being out of the water. I noticed before I scrubbed the decks. No rain.

I owned a tournament 205, which lived on a trailer at home. The front drain does not limber aft unless you raise the trailer tongue considerably. Remove your garboard plug and crank up the tongue and I think you will see water coming out. There is a 1/2 inch PVC pipe that carries the water aft from the cuddy drain to the bilge.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if I needed to start worrying or not.
