Going to treat my clear windows of my enclosure with IMAR , they say to clean first with a non detergent soap , what is everybody using for soap , NOT so easy to find. any help or suggestions would be great

Any boat soap is fine. Use a micro fiber cloth thought.

I wash and rinse and then use the 2-step Meguair's cleaner and polish. Then follow up with a coat of Plexus. They come out great.

For my clear strataglass curtains I have been using the imar soap followed by the polish. It was recommended by the installer, and has worked well.

im having a hard time finding the correct soap (im remote), the clear vinyl feels greasy and needs to be cleaned I think before I install the protective cleaner

re: 2009 factory curtains, GW recommends denatured alcohol to clean. they list a few different protective products for use after that. i clean with the alcohol and use Plexus. good luck, ron
