2008 228 wiper replacement

Greetings,
I had input from KY on his wiper replacement. He sent me a picture of some ANCO 16 inchers. I went online and ordered. I went to install today and they are easily twice as wide as the ones the boat which are OEM. His boat is an 04. So, can somebody with an 08 model year Grady post here what the proper size wiper blade refill actually is and where did you acquire them? Thanks.

All the posts I have seen on here and Facebook seem to be for earlier model years. If you had no luck with ANCO, have you tried just taking it to Napa and see if they can match it for you? That seems to be the alternative that some folks have done.

Anco 52-16 is the entire blade assembly.

Anco 52-16 , I replaced them in my old boat, my new boat are the same size as well.

Hmmm Smoky,,,,,,,, maybe you got the junior version for your blades since the rest of us seem to have the 16's. Pretty sure mine were original to the boat from the looks of them when I ordered the new ones.

Are you trying to remove the entire assembly and replace it, or just replace the rubber insert?

I am trying to replace the inserts only. The 16s are the right length but the OEMs are about half as wide as the ones I bought.

I think you are better of replacing the assembly, leave the old arms on.
