Hello,

Up for sale is my 2008 Grady White 228 Seafarer. I am posting first on Great Grady before the usual sites such as Boat Trader, Craigslist, etc. as I would prefer to pass along to another Grady enthusiast. Sadly, the kids are growing up and weekend sports are taking precedent over days on the water at this point. Boat is powered by a Yamaha 250 with approx. 620 hours, mostly low rpm trolling hours, also has a 9.9 Yamaha kicker, both of which are hung off an Armstong bracket. Boat is an absolute stud and is ready to fish. Electronics consist of a Garmin 12" with radar and Navionics chart. New washdown pump 2024, new batteries 2023 and fresh service with receipts including oil, plugs, lower unit, thermostats, water pump and impeller, fuel filter, fuel water separator etc. Boat rides like a dream and has never let me down. In terms of the trailer, it is a 2017 (will verify) Pacific trailer. Just replaced the calipers/pads and rotors in 2024, new tires in 2023. Asking price is $58k. Title in hand for both boat and trailer.

Thank you!

If anything, I think you’re slightly underpriced. The local GW dealership up here in Seattle is called Jacobsen’s Marine, of which they just sold pretty much the exact same boat as yours a few months back and had it listed for $65k. I’ve got the same boat as you but it’s a 2004, it’s a fantastic boat and I don’t ever see myself selling her. Good luck with the sale.
