200HP Yamaha motor loses power - question

Check SEI...their replacement lower units are around $1000 or so, with a warranty.

I was looking at SEI but I've heard mixed reports on their lower units in saltwater. They do give a 3 yr warranty but it sounded like more hassle and potential trouble than the savings might be worth. Maybe in a few years after they've got a proven track record but for now I'm biting the bullet on a real yammy lower unit.
