I scuffed the top of my windshield frame on a low bridge. As a result, the bottom of the frame where it attaches to the fiberglass lifted a bit exposing part of a screw. How do I access the bottom of the frame to address the lifted screw? While the actual damage is minimal, I would like to drive that screw back into the fiberglass or replace it with a larger screw so that it holds into he fIberglass.

i dont have an answer to your question, but when you do repair it, make sure you seal it so you dont get water intrusion

In many windshields, there is a rubber-ish-type gasket material in a channel along the base of the windshield. If you have that, simply pull it out to expose the screws.

Be careful! You got lucky and didn't break the glass causing many thousands of dollars of damage... and possibly not even able to FIND a replacement. Just be careful putting everything back in place.

When you are installing the glass in to the rubber channel, soap is your friend. Lube up both the inside of the rubber channel and the edge of the glass your inserting.
