It would be interesting to see that fuel gauge at cruise rpm.

I’ve got a sister ship, same color. Ive never seen 48 mph but great boat. They have a lot of cockpit space without the cooler/sink behind the helm.

To reply to cruise fuel, I can get just under 3 mpg at about 26 mph.

I have a 2024 Freedom 235 - Best Fuel Economy “on plane“ 2.7 to an occasional 2.9 mpg at +/- 27 mph - 4.5 mpg at say 5 mph

43 mph, sometimes 44 mph = Top Speed Trimmed as well as I am capable
