225T / F225 owners with bottom paint - what kind of performance numbers and top-end are you seeing?

I sea-trialed one today...not sure whether or not I'm seeing decent numbers. The rpms were right on, but the top speed seems a little slow. (36-37 at 6000 rpm - GPS and speedo numbers are consistent)

Tabs up and trimmed up? You should be hitting 40 mph easily all day long.

Thanks for the input...

GW says 45 unpainted, but their numbers are optimistic. My best guess would be somewhere 40-41 with bottom paint, but we were way off.

Started thinking about what it could be, since the bottom was clean (had just been washed yesterday.) Only thing I could come up with was a bunch of water in either the bilge or the bracket...and the bilge was dry.

They are going to pull it out of the water and see if the bracket has any water in it....barring that, it looks like another sea trial that won't result in a sale :(

It had a brand new 17-M (15.5x17) Yamaha SWSII prop that we used for the sea trial. The sellers prop (also a 17-M) needs to be reworked as its touched bottom a few times.

RPMs were 6000 at WOT, so from that perspective its the right prop...
