228 front enclosure piece?

I've started actively looking for a 228 and was curious, have the front sections changed the way they snap onto the windshield frame? I've been looking at a 2006 and it looks to have only the single set of snaps on the outside of the frame. Thought they had double snaps with an inside flap so to say, that snapped to the inside as well?

I have a 2003 228 and you are correct. The canvas snapped on both the outside and the inside.

I've zoomed in on the picture of the '06 228 and see no holes or snaps on inside of frame. Not a deal breaker, but was just curious. I've looked at these boats for quite awhile and was certain that they snapped on both sides.

Looks like it was the 2006 decision to cut corners...

Possibly, but I think it might have been short lived. Was looking at a new one and they are snapping on both sides. Looked at a '08 and I see snaps on inside. I can have a flap added and snaps put on if I see the need. The '06 I'm looking at does not have snaps or holes where they were removed. Who knows. Just a mystery.
