Hello NJ-JOHN can you tell what size prop you use and which hole the engine is mount to ?1990 228/ HONDA F225. I get 40mph wot. I cant imagine going any faster would be safe for that hull design.
what is the normal top end speed for a 228g hard top grady with a 225 yamaha 4 stroke ? my boat on flat water now goes 35mph at 5000 rpm wot. is this normal for this rig with a 4 stroke?
Mine tops at around 40. 225 F 2009. Its not going to win a race but it rides nice. I don" have a hard top yet. I am getting a new hard Top by Halloween. Paid deposit this week.
