I have a 2004 gulfstream 232. I have just repowered with a 300 Suzuki. I am struggling with the installer finding the right prop that i can get to 6000 rpms. Can anyone give me some prop sugesstions?

When I repowered by Gulfstream (twin 200's) I ended up calling PropGods https://propgods.com/. Ken is helpful and may be able to select the best for your situation. I am very happy with the props I bought from him and the performance is great, as he thought.

Power tech LFE3. Get it thru Ken at Propgods. 2nd choice would be a Mercury Eco Enertia.

WOT for that motor is spec'd at 5700 to 6300. What rev did you attain? What prop are you running now?
Are you satisfied with the performance at the ranges you are most concerned with? In other words what are your 'needs'
Is you hull bottom painted?

if your not getting enough RPM's you need a finer pitch prop.
the standard rule is 200rpm increase every 1" of pitch you go down

Bottom is painted.
The first prop they installed was an 18" and i couldn't get over 4700.
3/16/17 Fully trimmed max 5400 RPM's.
4/15/14 Fully trimmed max 5000 RPM's.
I am trying to get to the max RPM's
The installer recommended the 4 blade and it is worse.

Hopefully your "installer" is much better at rigging an engine than propping one. It isn't rocket surgery.
Since your installer appears to be clueless, do yourself a favor and do a little reading about boat props. Prop pitch is determined by your desired max rpm, and your lower unit gear ratio. Selecting the correct manufacturer and prop design is a bit of an art. Ken of Prop Gods is a Rembrandt. The best props for Suzukis are typically Mercury Eco Enertias or Power tech LFE3s. Ken has both. If you want him to quickly tell you what you need, get a performance report from Grady for your boat with a single 300. He will be able to nail it down from there.

What does fully trimmed mean?
I also question your installer's suggestion. All else being equal a 4 blade prop will have 'poorer' top end than a 3 blade due to it's extra drag.
Regarding your data, which number is the pitch and which is the diameter? I am not sure what factors made you change both pitch and diameter. Using the gear ratio and the pitch. one can calculate the slip and see if it is in the desired range. Was your first number an 18 inch pitc and if so , what was the diameter
