Hi All,

New here. I'm purchasing a 236 Fisherman soon. Does anyone have the measurements for how far apart the beams on a boat lift should be for this model?

TIA.

Chris

16.5 or 28.5 inches off of center keel line. So bunks could be 33 inches or 57 inches apart ( or both:))

Measurements would be to the center line (middle) of the bunks) but the exact placement is not super critical since the hull doesn't always sit in the same exact place when hauling.

I called GW and they provided this document for specific lift setup; to insure (1) proper bunk spacing (so the buttocks of your boat will rest on the bunks) and (2) the appropriate Center Gravity for centering on the cradle.

That chart is OK but it doesn't list the 236. I used Grady's chart for recent models and the 236 is listed with the specs I posted.

CWV, I did not realize the 236 was not on the chart Grady Customer Relations sent me for my 2014 251 CE. In addition to what Seasick provided, you want to insure you know the 236’s LCG to adequately center the boat on your cradle. Frankly I was surprised of where my 251 needed to be centered on my lift, compared to the two prior dual consoles I’ve owned (and used on the same lift).

LCG ( load center of gravity) is 94.75 inches from transom. The center of gravity differs of course depending on a few things bu the engine weight is a factor.
Grady calculates the center of gravity using the heaviest motors available for the model.
The position of the center of gravity will aid is getting the load properly balanced on a trailer or lift
