Got the 265 out yesterday for the break-in of the new Zukes. Ran it for about 4 hours, ran perfect. Total of about 40 miles total, and burned 24g of fuel.

I also tried my hand at sewing and recovered the coaming pads and seats, with new foam as well. Only ones I haven't done yet is the passenger seat backs. They turned out decent. 20230401_140158.jpg20230401_093251.jpg20230401_115142.jpg

I wasn't on plane for a good portion of that, it was putting around keeping it at the recommended less than 3k for the first 2 hours. Also some longer stretches of no wake zones in the area we were at. Wasn't till the last 10 miles or so that I got it up on plane.

On plane it was registering between 1.6-2.0 mpg playing around with trim and rpms.

5900 rpms was hitting around 43 mph.

Next run we'll avoid all the house boats/no wakes zones so I can play around with it more.
