I was able to remove the old supports but the part that is screwed to the windshield is frozen. Any tips on how to remove this?

The SS screws and aluminum have experienced galvanic corrosion. Shock it back and forth a 1/8 turn (lot's of pressure to avoid stripping the head)... penetrating fluid a couple times over a few days.... heat the head and use a candle to pull the wax in... there's no magic here - just patience!

If you do bugger the screw head, use a Dremel to cut away the crappy fitting and then you can get a vice grip on the screw head.

Or... remount your new support in a slightly different location and leave the old one there as a conversation piece.

Or, ahead and snap the old screws off and then you may be able to mount the new fitting in a "slightly" different spot to cover up at least one of the snapped screws.

Thanks everyone. I was able to use a dremel oscillator tool to cut the screws and remove the stubs with vice grips. Finished the long one today. Working on the short one tomorrow. I’ll post pics of the finished job.

Job complete. Ordered the supports from sternsafe, removed the old ones with a dremel oscillator tool and installed the new ones with some silicone caulk. I was able to remove the screws on the port side support after cutting off the screw heads. Harder to do on the starboard side. Ended up cutting the screws flush and drilling new holes about an eighth of an inch to the right.
