Thank youthat is helpful. Now i just have to identify what each switch is. Just bought the boat in Fl but I am in the northeast so tuff to do some things without being able to be on the boat. I was trying to get everything set before I go down end of the month to run it to its winter location. Should be about 140 miles down to Naples. Anyone in the naples area want to help a new guy out with some fishing spots let me know.

congrats on the new boat. I have a 02 265. my switch covers were faded like yours. My switches were still good, so I just replaced the plastic covers or labels. I think I have before and after pics. I will look for you to see if I can find them, if not next time I'm on the boat I will snap you a pic.

Much appreciated. All the switches still worked when I did the ST they are just faded completly. Would love to see what you did.

I see you are in CT have you taken the boat to the canyons? If so how did she do running out there and on fuel. They guy I bought the boat from said he got 350 mile range fully loaded for fishing. Based on the ST numbers and fuel flow shoud be right if not more.

thanks

I am out of NewLondon and have mine to the edge a bunch of times, more so years ago.

I can grab you a photo of this area next time I am at the boat if needed.

Tim that would be appreciated. what was the longest trip you did on the boat? did you have any concerns about having enough fuel?

I will be running out of the cape cod area so some of the canyons are well over 60 miles. I am thinking it should be ok for fuel but just wondering what else you can share.

Thanks

I have a 2003 with F225s, yes pick your days and the edge is in your reach. Not to much room to run east or west from there but like Tim, I have been to the NE canyons too.

Great fishing platform, you will be very happy!!

This is OEM on a 2000 265. Yours might be different switches.

Lucky 13- had the same issue with my 01 265, just replaced the switch covers with new ones. I think I got them from Taylor’s Marine in DE. Here’s a pic of the panel before replacing covers.

I replaced all my switch covers a few years ago, then replaced all the switches a year or so later after I started getting intermittent failures...
